OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Primeline, excellent quality vehicle parts is our highest priority. Our Quality Control department conscientiously ensures that quality always remains high, which is why we offer 24 months warranty across our range.

CRANKSHAFT PULLEYS

A crankshaft pulley plays a pivotal role in vehicle power distribution. A crankshaft pulley connects directly to the vehicle's crankshaft which transfers the faster speed from the linear movement of pistons, into a slower rotational speed for other vehicle parts which need this power.

Crankshaft pulleys often include an internal dampener that reduces the vibrations that run along the crankshaft pulley belts. The belts in the crankshaft pulley can slip due to the high vibration. A broken or torn crankshaft pulley belt can be individually replaced. However, a faulty dampener requires replacement of the entire crankshaft pulley.

All our crankshaft pulleys are manufactured to rigid tolerances and specifications that guarantee OE quality.

CV JOINTS

CV joints are found on either end of the driveshaft and are used to transmit the power of the engine through to the wheels of the car.

CV joints can over time become damaged as moisture and dirt can cause a lack of lubrication and corrosion causing them to fail, especially if the CV boot is fractured or torn. Failure of the outer CV Joint may also be indicated by a loud clicking noise when you turn the steering wheel. Failure of the inner CV joint may cause vibration when accelerating or decelerating.

We offer quality complete CV joint kits; these include a CV boot, stainless steel clamps, circlip, spindle nut, grease and joint.

DRIVESHAFTS

Driveshafts are responsible for transmitting the power of the engine through to the CV joints on the driveshaft, and onto the wheels of the car.

If your car is shaking or vibrating, then you may have a driveshaft problem. Driveshafts can also be damaged by kerbing wheels or not replacing CV boots of the CV joints when they are damaged from wear and tear. The Driveshaft is also often replaced when both CV joints are worn out or to save time by not having to remove and replace the CV joints.

IGNITION COILS

An Ignition Coil plays a vital role in converting the low voltage of the car battery to the high voltage required to spark the spark plugs, in order to ignite the air fuel mixture within the cylinder.

Failure of an Ignition Coil occurs due to irregular misfire at low RPM or lean mixture conditions or a total failure of spark to the affected cylinders.

PROPSHAFTS

Propshafts are responsible for transmitting the power of engine through to the axles, and onto the wheels of the car. Propshafts can also include various smaller components, such as universal joints, centre bearings and couplings. A complete Propshaft usually runs along the underside of your car.

If your car is shaking or vibrating from underneath the car, then you may have a Propshaft problem. A Propshaft may become unbalanced through wear and tear. Using the method of spot welding, a damaged Propshaft can be rebalanced, however in some circumstances, they will need to be replaced.

WHEEL HUB & BEARINGS

A wheel hub fits and connects with the wheel of your car. The hub may also contain a component called wheel bearings which allow the wheels of your car are able to turn smoothly. However, they can also be damaged over time through wear and tear.

If your wheels are making a grinding sound as you steer your car around corners, you may have a problem with the wheel hubs and/or its components such as the wheel bearing.

WINDOW REGULATORS

Window Regulators can be found within the car door, and are used to lower and raise car windows.

Window Regulators run the risk of wearing down and breaking as they are frequently used, this can sometimes result in the windows getting stuck halfway down or not working at all.

You can replace your faulty regulator with one our top quality Window Regulators! We are constantly increasing our range for all makes of cars.
